Writing

All of my writing is nonfiction: mostly cultural and political commentary, along with some personal narrative. Between 2007 and 2015 or so, my main topic was been higher education, and for two years I wrote a regular column on the Education page of the Scotsman newspaper. From 2013 onwards I’ve also written extensively about the Scottish independence referendum and politics in Scotland more broadly.
